The Flawless Face

Good skincare and great looking makeup go hand-in-hand.  You should strive to have skin that looks healthy and radiant using as little makeup as possible...people must see you - not the makeup.
Mineral Foundation
The only purpose of foundation is to even out the skin tone.  Do not use too much because it is not meant to cover imperfections.

Avoid applying foundation to your eye area.  You do not want to bring a lot of texture underneath the eyes, especially if you have darkness or wrinkles.  The texture from makeup that you put there will only emphasize any lines you already have there.

Apply foundation from the outer portion of your face in towards your nose.  If you start in the center of you face you usually put too much around the mouth and the nose.

Mineral Rice Powder
Mineral Rice Powder sets concealer and foundation and helps it to stay in place.  It also preps the face for our mineral blushes and bronzers.  Without a fine layer of rice powder, the colored pigments in our minerals will grab onto moisture or dry patches and make the skin look blotchy.  The reason our rice powder is superior to pressed powder is that the pressed powder goes on too heavy.
Note:  Darker skin tones should only use our light rice powder because it is pigment free.  Our medium rice powder on darker skin tones will give an ashy result.

Blush
You cannot apply our mineral blushes to the naked skin because any dry or oily areas are going to grab the pigment of the minerals resulting in an uneven application.  Always set with mineral rice powder first.  Apply blush to the apples of your cheeks but do not go too close to the nose.
Note:If you have prominent circles under you eyes, blush can help distract from that area.  Apply a full circle of color that embraces your cheekbone and goes right over part of the dark circle.  This trick also balances out white circles under your eyes.
