1. Avoid a sunburn like the plague
2. Incorporate a daily sunscreen with a moisturizer that is broad spectrum with SPF 30 or a sun block with zinc oxide, avobenzone, or titanium dioxide.
3. Apply sunscreen 30 minutes prior to sun exposure and then reapply every two hours thereafter.
4. Avoid the intense UVB rays between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
5. Dont forget the easy to miss spots: the ears, the lips, the scalp and the top of your feet.
6. Protect your nose. This is the location of 70% of facial cancers.
7. Examine your skin monthly. If a mole changes shape, color, size or appears irritated, itches or bleeds, have it evaluated.
8. Increase your skins resistance by maintaining hydration and including antioxidants in your diet. (Vitamins A, C, and E)

10. If you must bronze yourself
fake it from a bottle (Tzone Self-Tanner) or with a brush (Tzone Bronzer). Never tan in a tanning booth. It is just as unhealthy as tanning on the beach and its no fun.
